Wolcott, New York
Here we are in Upstate New York. Where I grew up. Steve grew up outside of New York City, which is another planet from here. You probably think of New York as skyscrapers, yellow cabs, broadway music and great restaurants. I think of New York as dairy, apple, and potato farms; red barns, blue skies, cumulus clouds, and green. A wet summer, as this one has been for them, is a good time to visit here. We'll visit my sister, her husband, her daughter-in-law (her son is in the Coast Guard and currently at sea), and Colbi, the 15 month old grand daughter.
