Acquisitions

We've been busy with our party preparations, and I haven't had time to make any entries. Some number of people north of 70 have RSVP'd, but I stopped counting at 72, because if I dwell on the number, panic will reign. We've done this party for 5 years. It always works out, and we always have fun. But the house isn't large, and the yard is really small, and it doesn't seem that 70 people will fit. But somehow they do because our friends are fun and flexible.

In the meantime, the new vacuum cleaner arrived. As did the spring-loaded carpet coverings for the steps. And some blocks that can be used as wedges to level the trailer when it's on uneven ground.

I don't think I need to buy much other stuff for the camper, although I'm still considering a portable ironing board. The iron is probably a necessity. I am thinking that I should get another case of beer for the party. And some more plates.
